Ferret Fayne and Volt the Fox were in line for the security checkpoint together. It was one of those new fangled "Real Identity" checkpoints that's completely automated and needs no oversight. Unfortunately, the designers did not design for every possible situation. Specifically, they didn't stop to think what might happen if two people were to go through the scanner at once... Which led to Fayne and Volt becoming the first victims of the "Real Identity Fusion Error".
Sometimes the victims realize what's going on, but if there's strong wills involved, it can be easy to not realize anything wrong's at all... While Fayne didn't really have anywhere to be, and was more concerned about the girly bits on his body, Volt was far too worried about missing her yoga class for her to let his worries bother them. So, Fayolt confusingly rushed off to Volt's yoga, all the while hornily stumbling over their own fused form...
