"Relax, let the silk embrace you completely. Every gentle wrap, every tender touch.. it's just for you....completely entranced and at my mercy. I can feel your heartbeat slowing... such a lovely rhythm.. in this moment, you are mine, and it's the most beautiful thing~"
Malafae tenderly cradles her hypnotised prey, her silken threads wrapping him in a delicate embrace. She leans close, whispering sinful secrets to her blissfully enchanted victim.
Also thought this would be a fun opportunity to expand on Malafae's biology:
The breeding cycle of an Arachnomorph is a meticulously calculated process that begins with the selection and subjugation of a male from another species, as they cannot breed amongst themselves. Using their extraordinary web-crafting skills, they lay intricate traps and create alluring environments to ensnare potential mates. Their seductive abilities, combined with pheromones and the strategic placement of webbing, ensure that their prey is lured and enticed into their clutches. The Arachnomorph extends its flexible ovipositor to guide the ensnared male’s member into their slit, ensuring the eggs within are properly fertilized.
Once the eggs are fertilized, the Arachnomorph must find a suitable host for incubation, typically selecting the same male who fertilized the eggs. Using their ovipositor, they implant the eggs rectally or vaginally, ensuring that the eggs are securely placed within the host’s body. The eggs are coated in a sticky, nourishing substance that keeps them adhered inside the host while providing essential nutrients for the developing young. Over the course of a month, this substance is slowly consumed by the embryos, allowing the eggs to naturally and harmlessly slip out of the host once they are fully developed.
Offspring inherit dominant physical traits from the host species but retain key Arachnomorph features such as tails, claws, fangs, extra eyes, exoskeletons, extra limbs, reproductive systems, and horns. Rarely, some may lack the extra arms, eyes, horns or back legs.
The host, however, is seldom left in peace after this period. Arachnomorphs are known to consume and drain the cocooned hosts once the eggs have been laid, a gruesome practice that not only eliminates any potential threat or witness but also provides the Arachnomorph with a significant nutritional boost. This cycle of seduction, implantation, and eventual consumption ensures that any encounter with an Arachnomorph is likely to be the last for their unfortunate victims.
However (and luckily for Zero in this artwork) Malafae has inherited the ability to hypnotise and bend the will of her prey from her parent host. Her parent species, Thalarians, have the ability to pulse their eyes in a glowing pattern that acts as a form of communication between their species and can stun or influence others.
Because of this, she does not always consume her partners, and finds pleasure in seducing and hypnotising them, addicting them to her pheromones so that they always return to her willingly. By ensuring her partners are enthralled and dependant on her, she secures a constant source of mates without the need to continually find new ones (a strategy that has allowed her to expand her influence greatly).
