Super happy to have this finished up. It did take me a bit, I had to work on this comic while moving, and learning the software. I can't credit the commissioner enough for working along with me on this. This is one of the first short comics I have completed using clip studio paint and I think It really turned out.
I don't typically draw messy content so this is for sure a treat for some viewers. Unsure where the fate of this poor guy will lead. I guess it will remain a secret for now. ;3
So the inspiration behind this picture is really the punch line. I'm sure many AB/DL's and Babyfurs throughout the community can relate to this as well as myself. Maybe not so much the using part, but the urge to want to wear diapers but having limited access to them while growing up. That urge to want to wear can really drive some people crazy. Some people who are lucky, may have managed to catch a small break if other siblings in the home required diapers.
This can hit everyone a bit differently because everyone has different feelings towards them. As ab/dl myself, my childhood wasn't easy. I do remember a lot of it, even as far back as my first birthday believe it or not haha. Regardless of the chaotic environment I lived in, no matter where I ended up. Diapers and stuffed animals always served as a way of comfort for me If I felt down or just needed to escape from the chaos.
I'm not really sure why, I'm not an expert in psychology by any means. But to briefly end this point, if there is anyone out there you relate to this. You're not alone and having an attachment to diapers is okay. There is nothing wrong with it. Obviously stealing isn't okay, but some people have such limited access to diapers that they resort to stealing them from other households whether it be family or friends. Hell, some have even taken them straight out of the box in the diaper aisle or even taken used ones from the bin. Like I said, stealing isn't okay, and please DO NOT take used diapers. That is very unsanitary and it can make you very ill.
My goal with this comic is to not only share something a lot of people can relate to but to, such as myself. But to also share awareness. I hope I did a good job of it so far, we'll see what the future holds for this comic. As of right now, that remains a secret~
