And somehow, she was still sinking—her stomach sliding under, her navel almost vanishing into the cold squishy mud, feeling it hugging her tightly.
The mud squished under her paws—but there was a firm spot there, and to her surprise, she slowly wiggled her way out. She was dripping with the thick muck as her shorts were sliding out of the mud. Was she managing to win this one?
