That he, a wastrel, a talentless thief, a tertiary villain in any storybook, be given this divine to offer herself as a mother to him, allowing him to finally find happiness and certainty. Why was life giving the most undeserving creature in existence the chance to feel truly loved? It no longer mattered, Stumpy simply accepted it. This was his chance for a new life, for redemption, and for love, and every second of it was utter bliss.
