I'm still in a mood. This one's for me!
I have been beating my head against blender for the last... geez, month or two whenever I had free time, experimenting with new ideas and techniques to see if I can solve any of the frequent issues I have with fur. While most of them have so far wound up as dead ends, I have found a few new little tidbits of info that might come up useful at some point, and [i]one[/i] problem has actually been more or less fully solved.
I've talked in the past how one of the problems with using particle fur in animations like these is that I can't have fluids affect the colour of part of a hair, it's either all wet or all not. This can cause some weird visual affects in areas of long fur, where a small drop of wetness will make the whole long strands also appear wet, or where long fur that covers the wet area won't itself be wet so you've got dry hairs over a wet spot, and it just looks weird. It's not a great look, but it was something we kinda just had to live with. Until now baby! I have more or less completely solved that issue. It's not 100% perfect, there are still situations where a bit of weirdness might happen, but it's a dramatic improvement in most situations. This animation was made specifically to test out the results of this new technique, and while it maybe didn't end up being the best test since most of the juices just stay on her face, I'd say the effect is most visible on her hips and tail where the wet spots stay where the fluid is instead of wetting the whole long strands.
Colour me pleased.
As for the details on this animation specifically? Well, it seemed fitting, I'm still in the mood for chastity gasms, and we haven't seen Jessie do it yet (lately, anyway). It was just a pretty quick thing just to test the fluids which is why we don't see above the shoulders for Jessie- we also have to kind of just imagine his arms are tied above his head because I didn't feel like animating his hands.
Fluids are unfortunately slightly flickery, that's one problem that I haven't solved yet. Sadly I think the solution to that is a pc upgrade so I can do fluid bakes faster, thus allowing me to up the settings a bit and not have it take 1000 years to bake, but hahahahaha no, not doing a pc upgrade right now.
But, as a quick test to try out the new technique, quite pleased, quite pleased!
